ZEL was incorporated in 1981 as a private limited company and has since been actively providing services on oil & gas, petroleum refining and pipeline projects. ZEL has been providing design engineering and project management services to almost all the major companies operating in these sectors in Pakistan, besides providing services to foreign companies in Nigeria, USA, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
ZEL personnel have extensive experience in handling small to large size projects in a diverse range of industrial sectors. ZEL has a team of multi-disciplinary personnel having an average of 15+ years of professional experience acquired with leading organizations both within and outside Pakistan. ZEL principals are industry leaders with an average of 25+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Energy Industry. The personnel at ZEL during the course of their professional work have had the opportunity of being associated with leading international engineering and consultancy organizations.

Suhail Hamid
- Founding Partner and Executive Director
- BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan (1974)
- Responsible for managing all business development, consultancy and project management work for various projects handled by the Company
- Over 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry managing delivery of medium and large scale domestic and multi-national projects
